For years, there has been only a handful of
online places to herbal smoking blend products from, and they all sell them
for an incredibly high price with lots of flashy packaging and marketing.
" Most are usually nothing more than different herbal
products "pressed" together and wrapped around a stick to make it look like it's
a real flowering bud from a plant, but they are rarely anything more than that.
We offer these same tobacco alternative smoking blends for far less.
There have been many recent advances in hybrid technology, and there are now
some herbal smoking blends that are actually real flower buds.
For example, the A'Hia strain is actually the flowering part of a real plant.
The identity of the plant is kept under wraps by the manufacturer because they
know that they have a monopoly on the herbal smoke industry and do not want to
lose that position...who can blame them? So gleaning information about
exactly what plants make up some of these herbal smoke blends is
difficult to impossible.
The focus of our shop has always been entheogens and ethnobotanicals, and herbal
smokes fall outside of this category, but upon researching, we found that a few
of the herbal smoke products use, as their main ingredients, well-known
shamanistic herbs that shops like us sell in their pure, unadulterated forms.
We like to offer our customers as wide a range of products as possible, so we
got samples of the available herbal products, and proceeded to test each one of
them for both alkaloid content, as well as the burning ability of each different
product. We found that some of these products had a lower alkaloid content
than pure, high quality, unadulterated herbs from reliable sources, but the
concept was still an interesting one, and the products provided a pleasing smoke
in their own right.
There is something to be said for sitting back and relaxing with an herbal
smoking blend product that is actually the natural bud of a plant. Though possibly still
dangerous to ingest, simply because smoking anything can be harmful to your
health, it's reportedly safer than smoking a cigarette, and the effects, as
explained strictly from customer testimonial, may be anywhere from a mild
placebo, to slight euphoria, but for me, the enjoyable
part of things is the ritual that surrounds them. The herbal smoke industry
is popular among those who enjoy herbal smoking blends, so there must be
something other than slick marketing and fancy packaging that brings people
back.
Out of the 2 dozen products we tested, we found a few that we felt were the best
of the bunch; ones that we could sell on our site, but while still maintaining
our high standard for carrying only effective products, and high quality
products as well. The A'Hia Bud is out Top Seller.
Albino Rhino is one of the newest products to hit the herbal smoke market and is
a combination plants that the manufacturer won't reveal. "Krypto" is much
costlier than the others, and the only reason we carry it is because it is asked
or by name. Third, is the "Blueberry Bud", which is a pressed combination
of contain Wild Dagga, Wild Hops, Avena Sativa, Wild Lettuce, and Cannabae Budz.
(We have yet to discover what exactly "Cannabea" is.)

carrying papers for rolling these interesting products in, but we haven't yet
